Multiple Konica Minolta AccurioPress production printing systems have once again been awarded FograCert Validation Printing System (VPS) certification to ISO 12647-8:2021 standard, underlining the portfolio’s exceptional print quality, color accuracy, repeatability, and production stability.
Fogra, the independent German research institute for media technologies, recognizes print production systems that demonstrate a verifiable commitment to ISO standards. The latest awards continue a long history of Fogra-validated Konica Minolta production systems that deliver standardized and measurable print performance.
Meeting the highest industry standards
Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C5070 / C5080, AccurioPress C10500 / C10500S, AccurioPress C12010 / C12010S, and AccurioPress C14010 / C14010S production printing systems successfully achieved Fogra VPS certification.
All are certified with a choice of controller - Konica Minolta Controller IC-614 or IC-613, or Fiery Controller IC-321 or IC-323 - providing customers with maximum flexibility while maintaining certified output quality.
The certification process assessed a comprehensive range of production criteria, including color accuracy, color gamut reproduction, repeatability over time, solid color stability, registration accuracy, resolution, uniformity, and PDF/X conformity.
Particular attention was given to automated quality management technologies that support stable production results. Systems equipped with the IQ-601 Intelligent Quality Optimizer demonstrated the ability to automatically maintain color consistency and front-to-back registration throughout production runs, minimizing manual intervention while ensuring reliable output.
