Representing a new dimension and category in mid-production print, it moves far beyond conventional automation by combining AI, real-time sensing and autonomous optimization to sense, decide and adapt while production is running. Shipping has started.
Built for commercial printers, in-plants, print rooms, and offset users moving into digital production, Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C8100 Series helps customers to reach their ambition in the face of changing market demands. These include shorter runs, tighter order deadlines, rising performance expectations and a growing worldwide skills shortage. By reducing dependence on operator experience, it enables expert-level output more consistently across jobs and shifts.
The series – also including the AccurioPress C8090 – is more than an evolution of its predecessor, the AccurioPress C7100 platform, and signals a new direction for mid-production printing by establishing The Intelligent Press™. Positioned between the AccurioPress C5080 light-production range and the AccurioPress C14010/S high-production segment, it strengthens Konica Minolta's mid-volume offering while signalling a more advanced, new-generation approach to intelligent production.
Customers benefit from predictable results, less operator intervention, reduced waste, higher consistency by bringing together automation, sensing and optimization in one system – all made possible by Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress Intelligence. The AccurioPress C8100 Series incorporates several advanced sensors that enable autonomous printing, while new options further support color processing adjustment, automated adjustment print quality and paper detection, as well as Simitri HD toner. Some features are only available as options.
